Up, Down & Sideways

This is a program for new and mid level people managers. As talent moves from individual contributions to managing work from others, new leadership muscles have to be exercised.It becomes necessary to understand how to delegate, how to manage upwards, work with peers, when to make decisions and when to escalate. Awareness of one’s self as a leader assumes great importance and a host of other competencies have to be demonstrated. Some of the skills that Up Down and Sideways focuses on building are:

  • Learning to practice both directive and supportive behaviours
  • Influencing without authority
  • Effective decision making
  • Developing skills of subordinates

As with all other Bullzi programmes, the design is customised to the organisation with emphasis on individual feedback and counselling included as an integral part.
